This issue only concerns items from a production batch that were sold to retailers from 04/03/2022 to 13/07/2022. The goods were available in retail stores and webshops during this period and later and could be still on the market today.

Due to a production issue, in some products the electrical insulation of the power supply unit is found to be inadequate. The user could receive an electric shock from accessible metal parts. Furthermore, the product may overheat and catch fire. The products from the affected production batch can be identified by a serial number on the package that starts with 011979036142xxxxxx.

If you have purchased this Gembird 2-port 18 W USB fast charger within the above period, or with the affected 011979036142XXXXXX serial number, please stop using the product and return the item back to the store. Also if there is no visible serial number (anymore) on your product, or you are not sure, please stop using the product and return the item back to the store. There you will receive a full refund of the purchase price.
